Akash Missile

Akash: Akash is a surface-to-air, multi-target (four to five at a time) missile with medium range of 25 km. It has phased array radar for multi-target acquisition, tracking and guidance. It is the first Indian missile system to use ramjet principle in its propulsion mechanism, i.e. use of atmospheric air as one agent of combustion.

NAG: It is the third generation anti-tank missile with a range of 4 km and has 'fire and forget' capability. It uses smokeless high-energy solid propulsion; its guidance is met by Milli Metric Wave (MMW) radar seeker as well as an Imaging Infrared (IIR) system.
